My Story

Hello friend, my name is Kendall and I am so happy that you decided to stop by!

I'm a 20 year old college student from Texas, who loves all things unique.

I have a slight (okay major) problem with routine, meaning I want everyday to be exciting. But if I'm honest with myself, that's all in my head, in reality I am always too scared to step out of my comfort zone.

In January 2014, my new years resolution was to make my life more adventurous. I started my blog as a way to document and share my personal experiences.

I have a slight obsession with stationery, I collect tea cups, and I am a amateur party planner (okay so really I've only planned three, but I have high aspirations).

If you like Diet Coke and watch The Office or Arrested Development, then we're probably meant to be best friends.

I wish life was filled with macarons and spontaneous trips to Paris, but sadly it's notI like to say I am Blair Waldorf living on a Dan Humphrey budget. Seriously, it's depressing.

I am a strong believer in being yourself, regardless of what everyone else your age is doing.

Thank you for reading and please feel free to contact me, I would love to hear from you!

Simply,

Kendall Rose

  1. So glad I found your blog through the peony project! I found myself nodding in agreement at this whole intro- from the wanting to take adventures but being hesitant to step out of your comfort zone to the diet coke & the office and I love what you said about being yourself regardless of what everyone else your age is doing!

    1. Thank you so much for stopping by Carlee! And I apologize for responding months later... I was just talking to my mom today about wanting to get out and do more things but fear just keeps me back. Although the new year gives me the perfect excuse to try again! Be you!

    1. Welcome Annie! Michael Scott is the world's greatest boss. I think I can watch that show over and over again and still laugh out loud every single time. Those writers are genius!

  3. I have an Office reference in my "About Me" and I keep a Diet Coke on me pretty much at all times, so I guess we really are meant to be best friends! ;)
